Fitting a new Agraffe on a Steinway Model O.

What the Customer Said:

When the agraffe on the middle F of my Steinway O broke, Harry took great pains to source the part from America and also to get two technician colleagues to confirm how the repair (not easy) would be best effected.

What the Customer Said:

Harry was obviously a piano expert, but also understood what my priorities were and offered options with his recommendations about repairs to my family piano.

He kept me informed at every stage and now my piano plays better than in 25 years. I wish I'd done this year's ago instead of waiting till a broken string made it necessary.

Should carry on bringing music to the next couple of generations now . Thank you.

Routine Tuning Reid Sohn Upright

What the Customer Said:

Harry
Just to say a huge thank you for the excellent tune to my piano today (as always). The difference is remarkable but most importantly is the level of service you provide without asking.... near enough is not good enough for you!! It’s humbling to think in today’s high speed society there are a few that still wish to deliver nothing but the best of service. Thank you

Removing & Replacing a split Hammer Shank on Ascherberg Upright Piano

19 Photos showing the removal of a split hammer shank, and a new shank being fitted:

This method is used when either; the shank has snapped flush to the butt and / or there isn't enough material left to use the hammer shank extracting tool and cylindrical clamp.
